Juul’s electronic cigarettes are no longer sold in America. The FDA has prohibited their sale after the country has seen an incredible surge in the number of teens vaping. Regulations for the vaping industry have been difficult to install because of the wealth and power of those involved. Officials now require that e-cigarette companies demonstrate with data that their product is beneficial to the public. In 2021, the FDA denied more than a million applications for e-cigarettes because of their potential to harm young people.
